Our Team & Fleet

Meet the people behind your safari

With Johnbow, your safari doesn’t feel passed around.

The same small team stays with you from the first conversation through to the final travel day, so the plan comes together without feeling handed over or reset along the way. As things come together, everything stays consistent. Even when you’re travelling across regions, it still feels like one smooth trip. By mastering the logistics, we allow you to step away from the details and immerse yourself fully in the beauty of the moment.

Our Team

Alongside this core team, a wider support team works behind the scenes. Guests experience only a few familiar points of contact, while the experience stays consistent throughout.

Vehicles & on-the-ground support

Travel across East Africa involves long distances, varied terrain, and changing landscapes. Days are spent on the road as much as they are in the parks, and how that time feels matters.

Journeys take place in proper 4×4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs, built for game drives and long distances. We plan for comfort: good visibility, enough space, and a pace that doesn’t feel rushed, even over longer distances.

Vehicles and guides remain consistent as routes progress, so you settle in and relax. Transitions between parks, regions, and lodges are planned so moving between places feels smooth, not hectic.

Once you’re on the road, we handle the details.

Even the driving feels part of the safari: steady, predictable, and well managed — so you can focus on the landscapes, wildlife, and the experience.
